Third Belgrade Gymnasium

The Third Belgrade Gymnasium, located at 15 Njegoševa street in Belgrade, Serbia, is a historic site recognized as a cultural monument of great importance. Constructed in 1906, the building showcases an academic architectural style designed by architects Dušan Živanović and Dragutin Đorđević. Its unique structure resembles the Cyrillic letter 'Ш' and features a prominent central projection with classical symmetry. The facade is adorned with rich decorations, including three bronze busts of notable figures in Serbian culture. This site not only serves as a high school but also stands as a testament to the artistic and architectural heritage of Belgrade, having been nominated for cultural monument status in 1964.
