Rylsky brothers' house

The Rylsky brothers' house, built in 1912 in Baku, Azerbaijan, is an architectural gem designed by Józef Płoszko. This four-story building features a classically symmetrical facade adorned with elegant architectural forms, including intricate bay windows and Moorish-inspired loggias. It showcases a blend of Eastern Muslim motifs and high artistic aesthetics, making it a notable example of national romantic architecture. Currently housing the Central Union of Cooperatives of Azerbaijan, the building is protected as a state monument. Historically significant, it served as the first Polish diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan during the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic in 1919, adding to its cultural importance for both tourists and researchers.
