Fossati's Delicatessen

Fossati's Delicatessen, established in 1882 in Victoria, Texas, is the oldest deli in the state and one of the oldest restaurants in the U.S. Owned by the same family for over 140 years, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1991. The deli, located in a building constructed in 1895, has served as a vital community hub, hosting famous musicians like Willie Nelson and political events, including a campaign stop by Texas Governor Rick Perry. Visitors can explore the Frank Napoleon room, filled with rare cookbooks, and see remnants of its historical past, such as metal rings for tying horses outside.
