Masonic Temple - richly decorated 19th‑century lodge rooms by James H. Windrim

The Masonic Temple on North Broad Street was designed by architect James H. Windrim and constructed in the 1870s as an elaborate headquarters for Pennsylvania Freemasonry. The building contains multiple highly ornamented lodge rooms, each decorated in a different historical or cultural style, and houses a museum with Masonic artifacts and regalia. The Temple is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and remains an active meeting place for Masonic organizations.
