Old Las Vegas Mormon Fort State Historic Park

The adobe walls of the Las Vegas Mormon Fort were constructed in 1855 by Mormon missionaries and are the oldest extant non-indigenous structures in the Las Vegas valley. The site is preserved as Old Las Vegas Mormon Fort State Historic Park with interpretive exhibits about the settlement era. The fort's remains provide a rare surviving example of mid-19th-century frontier construction in the city.
