The Old Courthouse, Howth

The Old Courthouse in Howth, built around 1845, originally served as a place of worship for local fishermen before transitioning to a courthouse in 1870, operating until 1970. Located at the junction of Harbour Road and Church Street, this historic building is a protected structure and part of the Howth Historic Core Architectural Statement of Character. Refurbished in early 2020, it now serves as a tourist centre, offering visitors a glimpse into the area's rich history.
