Walnut Street Theatre's hidden backstage spaces

Walnut Street Theatre, founded in 1809 at its present location, is the oldest continuously operating theatre in the United States. In addition to public performances, the theatre offers backstage tours that expose historic dressing rooms, stage machinery, and architectural details concealed from street view. The building remains an active producing and presenting theatre with historic fabric maintained behind its Walnut Street façade.
