Youngs Building

The Youngs Building, a heritage-listed warehouse located at 93–103 Edward Street in Brisbane, Queensland, was constructed in 1910 and showcases distinctive Federation era architecture. Originally built as a commercial warehouse, it features fine detailing, unrendered brickwork, and a symmetrical facade divided into four bays. The building has a rich history, having been leased to various merchants and experiencing a significant fire in 1912 that led to its partial reconstruction. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register in 1995, recognized for its importance in illustrating the evolution of Queensland's commercial landscape and its aesthetic contributions to the streetscape of Edward Street. Today, it stands as a testament to early 20th-century architecture and the growth of Brisbane's urban development.
