Green Double House

The Green Double House was a historic duplex located in Hannibal, Missouri, built between 1857 and 1858. This unique structure featured a one-story 'raised cottage' design with a double gallery and was constructed with clapboard on a squared rubble basement. Although it was divided into two residences, the house has since been demolished. It was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986, making it a point of interest for those exploring the rich history of the area.
