Institute of Texan Cultures (HemisFair '68 Texas Pavilion)

The Institute of Texan Cultures was built as the Texas Pavilion for HemisFair '68 and opened in 1968 as a state museum of Texas cultural history. The institute houses permanent and rotating exhibit installations that interpret the histories of Texas's diverse cultural communities. It has been administered by the University of Texas at San Antonio and served as an educational museum and event venue on the Hemisfair site.
