Marine Corps Supply Activity

The Marine Corps Supply Activity, located in the historic Point Breeze neighborhood of South Philadelphia, is a notable building that reflects early 20th-century architecture. Constructed in two phases between 1904 and 1908, this five-story structure showcases Classical Revival design elements, including Ionic pilasters. It played a significant role during World War II as the headquarters for the Depot of Supplies, overseeing the production of essential military equipment. Recognized for its historical importance, the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975 and has since been transformed into residential condominiums known as the 'Marine Club' since 2010, making it an interesting site for both tourists and researchers alike.
