USS Midway Museum

The USS Midway Museum is a museum ship on San Diego's downtown waterfront centered on the aircraft carrier USS Midway, which served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 to 1992. The museum preserves restored aircraft, flight deck exhibits, and oral-history–based displays and offers self-guided and docent-led tours, including bridge and engine-room access on rotation. It is one of the most-visited maritime museums in the United States and regularly hosts public events and educational programs.
