Lok Bhavan, Punjab

Lok Bhavan, formerly known as Raj Bhavan, serves as the official residence of the Governor of Punjab, currently Gulab Kataria. Situated in Chandigarh, which is the shared capital of Punjab and Haryana, Lok Bhavan overlooks the scenic Sukhna Lake. This historic building not only represents the governance of Punjab but also reflects the architectural heritage of the region. Since 1985, the governor has also taken on the role of administrator for Chandigarh, making Lok Bhavan a significant site for both political and cultural activities in the area.
