Aztec Theatre

The Aztec Theatre opened in 1926 as a lavish movie palace noted for its ornate, stylized Aztec and Mayan interior motifs. In recent decades it has operated as a downtown live-music venue hosting national touring rock, pop, and alternative acts. The theatre remains a prominent historic entertainment site on San Antonio's St. Mary's Street corridor.
