Queset House

Queset House, located at 51 Main Street in North Easton, Massachusetts, is a historic building designed by renowned architect Andrew Jackson Downing in 1854 for industrialist Oakes Angier Ames. The house features a rear extension designed by John Ames Mitchell in 1872 and is set within grounds planned by landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted. Acquired by the Ames Free Library in 2007, Queset House now serves as an extension for special library programs, making it a unique destination for tourists and researchers interested in architecture and local history.
