Silas Sherrill House

The Silas Sherrill House, located at the corner of 4th and Spring Streets in Hardy, Arkansas, is a notable example of craftsman architecture built between 1927 and 1928. This historic 1–1/2 story structure is constructed from rough-cut native stone and features a distinctive side gable roof with knee brackets, brick chimneys, and a gable-roof dormer. The house also boasts a charming single-story shed-roof porch supported by stone piers and a fieldstone balustrade. Recognized for its architectural significance, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998, making it an interesting site for both tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
