Texas Governor's Mansion (mid-19th-century residence)

The Texas Governor's Mansion at 1010 Colorado Street was completed in 1856 and has served as the official residence of Texas governors since the mid-19th century. It is one of the oldest continuously used governor's residences in the United States and has undergone multiple restorations and system upgrades to preserve its 19th-century structure and meet modern safety standards. The building sustained notable damage in a 2008 fire and was subsequently repaired and restored.
