Fort Worth Water Gardens (Philip Johnson design)

Designed by architect Philip Johnson and opened in 1974, the Fort Worth Water Gardens is a modernist urban park notable for its three distinct water features: the Active Pool, Aerating Pool, and Quiet Pool. The terraces, cascading water, and concrete forms are examples of late-20th-century civic landscape and modernist architectural design.
