Fort Worth Zoo - established 1909

The Fort Worth Zoo opened in 1909 and is one of the city’s oldest cultural institutions. It is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and runs significant conservation and education programs. The zoo’s exhibits and living collections have expanded repeatedly since its founding.
