Salerno Harbor station

The Salerno Harbor station is a striking maritime terminal located at the commercial port of Salerno, Italy, designed by renowned architect Zaha Hadid. Inaugurated in 2016, the station features a unique architectural style resembling an oyster, symbolizing the connection between land and sea. It spans 4,500 m2 over two levels, housing facilities for cruise and ferry passengers, including a ticket office, restaurant, and waiting areas. With plans to accommodate up to 150 cruise ships annually, the station aims to enhance tourism in the region, offering various services such as porter assistance, taxi rentals, and information offices. Its large windows provide stunning views of the Amalfi coast, making it a notable landmark for visitors.
