Panorama (Montross, Virginia)

Panorama is a historic estate located in Montross, Virginia, featuring a well-preserved Colonial Revival house built in 1932. Designed by Joseph Evans Sperry for politician Charles E. Stuart, the estate spans over 130 acres and remains largely unchanged since its construction. The house boasts two main facades, one facing the long driveway and the other overlooking Chandler's Mill Pond. Its architectural style closely resembles the historic Bushfield, the home of John Augustine Washington, with similar dual facades and an interior staircase that mirrors Bushfield Manor's. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011, Panorama offers a glimpse into Virginia's rich history and architectural heritage.
