Seasonal cascades on Penitencia Creek at Alum Rock Park

Alum Rock Park contains multiple seasonal waterfalls and cascades along Penitencia Creek, formed by the steep canyon terrain. These cascades are most prominent after winter storms and are visible from the park's network of hiking trails. Alum Rock Park is one of California's oldest municipal parks, established in 1872, and is managed by the City of San Jose.
