Mulberry Hill (Lexington, Virginia)

Mulberry Hill is a historic mansion in Lexington, Virginia, built around 1797 and recognized on the National Register of Historic Places since 1982. Originally established by Rev. William Graham, the property has undergone several expansions and renovations, notably by Samuel Reid in the mid-19th century and local architect William C. McDowell in 1903. The mansion features a blend of architectural styles, including Georgian and Italianate elements, and is set on 7.7 acres with a walled garden. Since 2004, it has served as the national headquarters for the Kappa Alpha Order fraternity, which was founded at nearby Washington and Lee University.
