Waterloo (Albertson, North Carolina)

Waterloo, also known as Grady House, is a historic plantation house located near Albertson in Duplin County, North Carolina. Built around 1806, this Federal style frame dwelling features a two-story structure with a steep gable roof and is supported by a brick pier foundation. The house is uniquely surrounded on three sides by a one-story enclosed shed, adding to its historical charm. A contributing two-room outbuilding is also present on the property. Waterloo was recognized for its historical significance and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
