Skattaboe Block

The Skattaboe Block is a historic building located in Moscow, Idaho, constructed in 1892 for the Moscow Telephone and Telegraph Company. This Romanesque Revival architectural gem has a rich history, having been owned by the Inland Telephone Company from 1925 to 1952 before being acquired by the General Telephone Company. Currently, it serves as the home of New Saint Andrews College. Despite a fire in 1966 that led to renovations in 1978, the building's original design has been preserved, earning it a spot on the National Register of Historic Places since May 22, 1978. This site offers a glimpse into the architectural and technological history of the region, making it an interesting visit for tourists and researchers alike.
