Gerasimov Merchant Shop

The Gerasimov Merchant Shop is a notable architectural monument located in the historic center of Kamensk-Uralsky, Sverdlovsk oblast. Built in the late 19th century, this rectangular brick building features a striking southern facade facing Lenin Street. Originally owned by merchant Gerasimov, the shop occupied the first floor while the second floor served as his residence. The structure showcases a simple yet symmetrical design with a prominent entrance highlighted by massive architraves and decorative semi-columns. Although the original interior decorations have been lost, the building remains a significant cultural heritage site, recognized for its architectural value since 1987.
