Standard Chartered Bank building, Penang

The Standard Chartered Bank building, located at No. 2 Beach Street in George Town, Penang, is a historical landmark completed in 1930. Once one of the tallest buildings in the city, it served as the Penang branch of Standard Chartered until 2017. Originally built to accommodate the Chartered Bank of India, Australia and China, it has a rich history as the oldest bank branch in Malaysia.
