Fearless Girl (Kristen Visbal)

Fearless Girl is a bronze statue by Kristen Visbal that was installed on March 7, 2017 and originally placed facing the Charging Bull at Bowling Green. In December 2018 the statue was relocated to a permanent site at 55 Broad Street near the New York Stock Exchange. The work was commissioned by an investment firm and has prompted public discussion about corporate-sponsored public art in civic spaces.
