Residencia Aboy-Lompré

The Residencia Aboy-Lompré, built between 1910 and 1912 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is a historic house known for its unique tropical architectural style influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright's disciple, Antonin Nechodoma. This cultural landmark has served as a venue for social gatherings and houses the Federación de Foto Periodistas de Puerto Rico. After being restored and reopened in 1994, it now hosts free cultural activities and is recognized as part of Puerto Rico's cultural heritage. The residence is also linked to notable figures such as Ramón Aboy Miranda, an accomplished photojournalist, and José Ferrer, the first Puerto Rican Academy Award winner.
