Houston Center for Photography

Founded in 1973, the Houston Center for Photography is a nonprofit organization that presents exhibitions of historic and contemporary photography, offers educational workshops, and supports photographers through residencies and portfolio reviews. HCP maintains an archive of photographic works and produces regularly rotating gallery shows featuring regional, national, and international artists. The center is a longstanding venue for photographic arts in Houston.
