China Grove (Gardner, Louisiana)

China Grove is a historic house in Gardner, Louisiana, recognized for its exceptional neo-classical and Greek Revival architecture. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, it features distinctive Greek Revival woodwork that sets it apart from other regional homes. The house is part of a study of ten Neo-Classical farm-plantation houses along Bayou Rapides and has undergone modifications, including a false gallery for rain protection, which slightly alters its original look.
