Mont Calm

Mont Calm, also known as Montcalm, is a historic farmhouse located in Abingdon, Virginia, built in 1827 in the Federal style. This two-story, five-bay brick house features a notable two-story extension added around 1905, and is distinguished by its standing seam metal gable roof and limestone base. The charming porch, supported by Tuscan order columns, enhances its architectural appeal. Notably, it was the residence of Virginia Governor David Campbell. Mont Calm was recognized for its historical significance by being listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974, making it an intriguing site for tourists and researchers alike.
