Havana Biltmore Yacht and Country Club

The Havana Biltmore Yacht and Country Club, now known as Club Havana, is a historic sports and country club located in the Miramar suburb of Playa, Havana, Cuba. Established in 1911 and officially opened in 1928, it was designed by the architectural firm Moenck & Quintana and became a social hub for wealthy Americans and Havana's elite, including famous writer Ernest Hemingway. The club was seized by the Cuban government in 1960 during the Cuban Revolution and transformed into a public school. In 1998, it reopened as Club Havana, offering a glimpse into its storied past and a unique experience for visitors.
