McNay Art Museum

The McNay Art Museum was founded on the collection and estate of Marion Koogler McNay and opened to the public in 1954 as one of the first modern art museums in Texas. Housed in a Mediterranean-style mansion with later modern additions, the museum's collection includes modern and contemporary painting, sculpture, and a notable collection of Latin American art. It serves as a cultural anchor for the Alamo Heights/Museum District area and offers exhibitions, education programs, and public events.
