Stowe CCC Side Camp

The Stowe CCC Side Camp, now the Vermont State Ski Dorm, is a historic residence hall located in Stowe, Vermont. Built in 1935 by the Civilian Conservation Corps, it is one of the largest surviving CCC-built structures in the state. Nestled in Mount Mansfield State Forest, the camp offers scenic views and was originally used to house workers constructing roads and trails in the area. After World War II, it transitioned into a ski lodge. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002, making it a notable site for tourists and researchers interested in history and outdoor recreation.
