University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology (Penn Museum)

The Penn Museum, founded in 1887, houses extensive archaeological and anthropological collections from Egypt, the Near East, Asia, the Americas, and Africa. Its public galleries include Egyptian mummies, artifacts from Mesopotamia and Mesoamerica, and rotating special exhibitions that reflect its research collections.
