King Street Station

King Street Station opened in 1906 as Seattle's primary intercity rail terminal and is notable for its clock tower modeled after Venice's St. Mark's Campanile. The station's exterior exhibits Beaux-Arts proportions while the interior originally included richly finished waiting rooms and ticketing spaces. A major restoration in the 2010s preserved and rehabilitated many of the station's historic architectural features for continued rail service.
