Aragvi was a renowned restaurant located on Tverskaya Street in Moscow, celebrated for its Georgian and Caucasian cuisine. Established during the Soviet era, it became a prominent meeting place for the political and cultural elite. The restaurant was housed in the historic 'Hotel Dresden', a recognized cultural heritage site. After its opening in the late 1930s, Aragvi quickly gained a reputation for quality dining, though it remained largely exclusive due to high prices. Following the Soviet Union's collapse, it became associated with organized crime. After a significant renovation in 2016, it reopened with an expanded menu but ultimately closed permanently in February 2019, amid rumors of management conflicts. Today, the site is available for rent, marking the end of an era for this iconic establishment.
