The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts

The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts opened in 2002 and is a major performing-arts venue in downtown Houston's Theater District. It is home to Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) and regularly hosts touring Broadway productions, local dance companies, and special events. The center contains multiple performance spaces and was funded in part by the Hobby family philanthropic foundation.
