Guardian Building

The Guardian Building is an Art Deco skyscraper in Detroit's downtown Financial District, completed in 1929 and designed by architect Wirt C. Rowland. It is noted for its bold orange brick exterior and richly ornamented interior featuring extensive tilework and decorative details. The building originally housed the Union Trust Company and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a prominent architectural landmark.
