Wolf-Ruebeling House

The Wolf-Ruebeling House, located near Defiance in St. Charles County, Missouri, was a notable historic home built between 1857 and 1859. This two-story brick I-house featured vernacular architecture with elements of Classical Revival design. Although it was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, the house tragically succumbed to a fire in 1985 and was subsequently delisted in 1994. Its story reflects the rich architectural heritage of the region.
