Halifax Club

The Halifax Club, established in 1862, is a historic private club located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, serving as a gathering place for business-minded individuals. Known for its warm atmosphere steeped in tradition, the club features a notable art collection, including works by Benjamin West and Robert Field. Founded by a group of 15 distinguished gentlemen, the club has seen various prominent members throughout its history, including Sir Robert Borden and Sir Sandford Fleming. After facing financial challenges, the club was purchased in 2015 and continued to host events until its closure in February 2025.
