Luxor Sky Beam

The Luxor Sky Beam originates from the apex of the Luxor Las Vegas pyramid and is produced by a bank of xenon lamps; it was activated when the Luxor opened in 1993. The concentrated vertical beam is notably bright and has been used as a visual signature for the resort, visible from aircraft and from many points across the valley at night. The illuminated pyramid is one of the most recognizable architectural silhouettes on the Strip.
