Williamsville Water Mill Complex

The Williamsville Water Mill Complex, located in Erie County, New York, is a historic site that showcases the region's industrial heritage. Originally built as a sawmill in 1801 and expanded in 1827, it operated until 1903 before transitioning to apple cider production after 1908. The complex includes the Water-Lime Works and Williamsville Cement Company mills, which were converted to gristmills. Recognized for its historical significance, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. Today, the mill houses Sweet Jenny's Ice Cream, attracting visitors to the picturesque Glen Park.
