The Texas Governor's Mansion at 1010 Colorado Street has served as the official residence for Texas governors since its completion in 1856. The Greek Revival-style residence has housed numerous notable Texas political figures and has undergone multiple restorations after damage and deterioration. The mansion is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
