Roxie Theater

The Roxie Theater at 3117 16th Street in the Mission District is a nonprofit neighborhood cinema known for independent, documentary, and repertory film programming. Operating since the early 20th century, it is frequently cited as one of the oldest continuously running movie theaters in the United States. The Roxie hosts film festivals, retrospectives, and community events and remains a longtime cultural anchor for San Francisco's film community.
