Kearny Cottage

Kearny Cottage is a historic house museum located in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, originally built in 1781. It showcases the maritime history of the city and its notable residents, including poet Elizabeth Lawrence Kearny and Commodore Kearny, known for his trade relations with China. The cottage features a colonial garden and is a repository for local historical artifacts. It has been relocated several times and is now situated at 63 Catalpa Avenue, recognized on both the New Jersey and National Registers of Historic Places.
