Otterspool Tower

Otterspool Tower was a proposed supertall skyscraper in Liverpool, UK, envisioned by the Wiggins Group in the late 1990s. Standing at 305 meters (1,000 feet), it aimed to be the tallest building in Europe and a centerpiece of a £750 million regeneration project for the former Festival Gardens site. The ambitious design included a 2,500-bed five-star hotel, a theme park, and a giant waterfall, all influenced by Liverpool's rich musical heritage. Despite initial excitement, the proposal faced significant local opposition and was ultimately scrapped in 1999, leaving behind a legacy of what could have been a landmark attraction for tourists and residents alike.
