Trinity Church (Copley Square)

Trinity Church in Copley Square, designed by architect H. H. Richardson and completed in 1877, is the exemplar of the Richardsonian Romanesque style and significantly influenced American architecture. The building is noted for its polychrome stonework, central tower, stained glass and interior murals, and its prominent siting within the Back Bay's Copley Square. Trinity Church is listed as a National Historic Landmark and remains an active parish and architectural attraction.
