Aleksandar Nikolić Hall

The Aleksandar Nikolić Hall, located in Palilula, Belgrade, Serbia, is a prominent indoor sports arena with a seating capacity of 8,000. Renamed in 2016 to honor the legendary Serbian basketball player and coach Aleksandar Nikolić, the hall is a hub for basketball matches, particularly featuring local teams like Crvena Zvezda and Partizan. Opened in 1973 and designed by architects Ljiljana and Dragoljub Bakić, it is celebrated for its modernist architecture and has hosted significant events, including EuroBasket tournaments and the Davis Cup. Recently renovated in 2019, the hall has upgraded facilities and is set to serve as a home venue for Maccabi Tel Aviv amidst ongoing regional tensions.
